Unified Socialists: Madhav Nepal and Jhalnath Khanal to not attend meetings of both factions

KATHMANDU, Aug 26: Amidst the controversy within the Youth Union of CPN-Unified Socialists, Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, respected leader Jhalnath Khanal and General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal will not attend the meeting called by two factions of the party.

The Chairman of the Union, Naresh Shahi, is holding a meeting at Kalopul in Kathmandu whereas Deputy Chairman Nitesh Paudel is holding a meeting at Aryal Hotel in Baneshwor.

There has been an internal dispute within the Youth Union for a long time. The party secretariat was given the responsibility to settle the dispute but has been unsuccessful so far.
