UML Secretariat meeting postponed

KATHMANDU, Aug 25: The Secretariat meeting of the CPN UML said to be held in Siraha has been postponed.

The meeting scheduled to be held on the 26th of August in the Dhangadhimai Municipality of the Siraha district has been postponed due to floods and inundations, informed the Secretary of the UML Central Office Dr. Bhisma Adhikari.

Adhikari informed that even though all the preparations were complete, all the programs scheduled for August 26 have been postponed until further notice is issued, as the meeting place has been affected by the flooding.

UML had scheduled to hold the Secretariat meeting on the place where the fourth convention of the party was held in the year 2046 BS, on the same day.
