Leaders Sthapit and Yadav dismissed by UML

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: CPN UML has officially dismissed two leaders from the party. UML is also going to dismiss one standing committee member within a few days. 

The former minister and the Provincial Assembly member Keshab Sthapit and the central member Pramod Narayan Yadav (Siraha) were dismissed by the party in the CPN UML Central Secretariat meeting on Monday.

UML's Deputy Chairman Subash Nemwang informed that Sthapit and Yadav were dismissed after the leaders informed the party that they wouldn't be active in party activities.

They were dismissed by the decision of the secretariat meeting in accordance with the party's policy of gradually removing leaders who are not active in the party.

Deputy Chairman Surendra Pandey informed that two other leaders, Kedar Neupane and Chhakka Bahadur Lama, will be added to the central committee in place of the dismissed leaders.
