Three Ministers along with CM sworn-in in Koshi

KATHMANDU, Aug 2: The Chief Minister of the Koshi Provincial government, Uddhav Thapa, who was appointed as the Chief Minister on Friday, has taken an oath of office and secrecy, and formed a small Cabinet. 

Chief Minister Thapa has appointed the leader of the CPN Maoist Center, Baburam Gautam, who is also the former Speaker of the House, as the Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning. Similarly, the new Minister of Drinking Water, Irrigation and Energy, Pradip Kumar Sunuwar of Nepali Congress, and the new Minister of Road Infrastructure and Physical Development, Kamal Prasad Jabegu of the CPN (Unified Socialist), have also been sworn in.

In a ceremony organized at the office of the Provincial Chief on Wednesday, Thapa, along with the three Ministers, took the oath of office and secrecy before the provincial chief Parshuram Khapung.
