Nepal Rastra Bank board of directors meeting ongoing

KATHMANDU, July 23: Nepal Rastra Bank is announcing the monetary policy for the current fiscal year on Sunday. With the announcement of the government's financial policy (budget), the Rastra Bank, focusing on monetary policy, has been preparing to announce the monetary policy by holding a board meeting on Sunday.

Information Officer Narayan Prasad Pokharel informed Ratopati that the meeting of the Rashtra Bank Board of Directors, which commenced at 8 am on Sunday, is continuing. As soon as the board passes the monetary policy for the current fiscal year, it will be published through the website, Pokharel said. But the official press release of the Rastra Bank will be issued only at 3 pm, he informed. 

It is understood that the monetary policy has been prepared by the Central Bank in order to balance the improvement of the internal and external sectors of the economy in order to achieve the economic growth rate of 6 percent of the budget of the fiscal year.
