General increase in gold price this week, silver remains stable
KATHMANDU, July 22: There has been a general increase in the price of gold in the Nepalese market this week compared to the previous week.
The price of gold has increased by 300 rupees per tola according to Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation. Last Friday, the price of hallmarked fine gold in the market was Rs 112 thousand and 500 per tola.
It has increased to Rs 112 thousand 800 this Friday, according to the Gold and Silver Federation. Similarly, the price of Tejabi gold is Rs 112 thousand and 250 per tola this Friday.
The price of silver has remained stable from last Friday. According to the federation, the price of silver today remains at Rs 1,480 per tola.
It's important to note that one tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
