Gold price increases by Rs 1000 per tola

KATHMANDU, July 8: The price of gold has increased by 1000 rupees per tola in the Nepalese market this week. 

Last Friday, the price of hallmarked fine gold in the market was Rs 109 thousand and 600 per tola. It has increased to Rs 110 thousand 600 this Friday, according to the Gold and Silver Federation.

Similarly, the price of Tejabi gold is Rs 110 thousand and 50 per tola this Friday.

The price of silver has also increased this week. It has increased by Rs 15 per tola compared to last week. The price of silver was Rs 1360 which has increased to Rs 1375 per tola this Friday.

It's important to note that one tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
