Banks and financial institutions to open on Saturday today

KATHMANDU, July 8: Nepal Rastra Bank has instructed to open banks today on Saturday as well.

At the request of the Comptroller General's Office on Friday, Rastra Bank has requested banks and financial institutions to make arrangements for revenue collection, check clearing and electronic funds transfer (EFT) fund settlement on July 8 and 15.

According to Rastra Bank, the system should be open on July 8 and 15 during holidays and until 8 pm on July 9.
