1x Bet case: Transactions worth 313 million using other's citizenship

KATHMANDU, July 4: Agent Dinesh Khadka has been revealed to be involved in transactions worth millions of rupees using citizenships of some other people through 1x Bet online gambling.

It was revealed that Khadka, who was arrested on June 13, opened 42 accounts using the citizenship of other people without their permission, misused electronic mediums and deposited Rs 313 million, 264 thousand and 252 in their accounts for transactions.

In this regard, the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has received a complaint for committing offenses under Section 3 (a) and (b), Section 5 (a) and (v) and Section 6 of the Banking Offenses and Punishment Act 2064 against 2 victims. The Gross Complaint Application and other documents have been sent to the Teku District Police Range on Tuesday for necessary action.
