ICC ODI World Cup Qualifiers: Nepal invites USA to bat, Two wickets already lost
KATHMANDU, June 20: In the second match of the ICC One Day International World Cup Qualifiers, Nepal has won the toss and has decided to bowl first. The World Cup Qualifiers are being held in Zimbabwe.
In the first match, Nepal lost to Zimbabwe with 4 wickets. The USA had also lost to the West Indies. America, however, is ahead of Nepal in the net run rate of the score table.
The fast bowler from Nepal, Sompal Kami, will not be playing in the second match due to a finger injury. Spin bowler Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi will be playing in his place.
The USA has already lost two wickets in its first 6 runs. The opener batsman of the USA, Steven Taylor, was made lbw out by Nepali Bowler Karan KC. Right after that, batsman Saiteja Mukkamalla was also made a catch-out by Aarif Sheikh.
