Government to take 28.5 billion loan from treasury

KATHMANDU, June 11: The government will take a domestic loan of Rs. 28.5 billion from the treasury bill this Tuesday. The central bank will collect the loan from four types of treasury; 28 days, 91 days, 182 days and 364 days.

The details of the treasury bill will be publicly discussed on June 12 on Monday according to the National Bank.

Banks and financial institutions interested in investment can apply for the treasury until 3 pm on Monday. According to the Central Bank, Rs 25 billion from the treasury will be renewed and the remaining 3.5 billion will be issued in the new treasury.
