NEPSE index increases by 40 points in the first day

KATHMANDU, June 11: On the first day of the week, the NEPSE index increased by 40.48 points and rose to 1980.09 points. Shares worth Rs. 3 billion 454 million 300 thousand were traded with a turnover of 9 million 528 thousand shares.

The sensitive index increased by 6.10 points reaching 370.52 points today. All 13 sub-indices became positive and the market has escalated. The sub-indices of finance groups and investment groups increased by 5.72 percent and 5.11 percent respectively, while the sub-index of development bank groups increased by 4.66 percent today.

Similarly, the trading group's sub-index increased by 3.88 percent, while the Manu & Pro group's sub-index increased by 3.53 percent. The share price of Geo Energy Development Company Limited has a positive circuit today, while the share price of Global IME Balance Fund-1 has decreased by 3.83 percent.
