India submits Raxaul-Kathmandu Railway report to Nepal
KATHMANDU, June 1: India has submitted the survey report of the Raxaul-Kathmandu Railway to Nepal. The field report of the Railway was given to Nepal Government by Indian Foreign Secretary Binay Mohan Kwatra.
Kwatra stated that he expects a response from the Nepal government. “We are now expecting a response from the Nepal government. Further work will be started as soon as the Nepal government’s response arrives,” Kwatra stated.
The construction period and process of the project will only proceed after Nepal responds, as per India.
