Petrol being traded at Rs 175 per liter, diesel at Rs 165
KATHMANDU, April 4: The Nepal Oil Corporation has announced a decrease in the prices of petrol, diesel, and aviation turbine fuel, effective from Monday midnight.
The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs3 per litre, while diesel and kerosene prices have been reduced by Rs10 per litre. As a result, petrol will now cost Rs175 per liter, and diesel/kerosene will cost Rs165 per liter.
The aviation turbine fuel prices have also been lowered, with domestic aviation fuel prices decreased by Rs10 per litre to Rs160 per litre. The aviation fuel sold to international airlines has come down to $1.35 per litre from $1.42 per litre. However, the price of liquefied petroleum gas remains unchanged at Rs1,800 per cylinder.
