ICC World Cup League-2: Nepal defeats PNG

KATHMANDU, March 3: Nepal defeated Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the triangular ODI series under ICC World Cup League-2 on Friday by 3 wickets.
Chasing the target of 180 runs given by PNG at the Dubai International Cricket Ground, Nepal scored 182 runs losing 7 wickets in 48 overs.
Earlier, PNG, who won the toss and batted first, scored 179 runs losing all the wickets in 49 overs.
With the win, Nepal is in the sixth position of the table with 30 points from 31 matches in League-2, while PNG is seventh in the table with 7 points from 31 matches.
