TIA server down: All flights affected

KATHMANDU, Feb. 20: Tribhuwan International Airport's Immigration Department Administrative Software server is down.

TIA spokesperson Teknath Sitaula informed Ratopati that international flights were affected due to a software problem at the immigration department of the airport from around 1 pm on Monday.

Sitaula informed Ratopati that technical teams are actively working to solve the issue and that they are hopeful that the problem will be resolved very soon.

He informed that, as the Immigration department's  Departures and Immigration have stopped, even flights have been affected. And as the immigration software also belongs to Singha Darbar, if there is a problem there, the Immigration department also faces the problem, he added.

There was a problem on January 29 last month, when all the government sites were down which brought panic among people.
