15 more involved in Balaju incident arrested

KATHMANDU, Feb. 16: The police have arrested 15 more people involved in the theft at Lhotse Mall and arson on the police vehicle during the demonstration by the transport workers at Machhapokari, Balaju. SSP of Valley Crime Investigation Office Dr. Manoj KC informed that 15 people seen in the CCTV footage and video were arrested.

The arrestees are Suraj Magar of Kavre, Ritesh Basnet of Udayapur, and Yaman Rai of Morang Belbari. They were seen in the video stealing mobile phones from Lotse Mall.

hose involved in the arson and vandalism are Sunil Kalikote of Nuwakot, Roman Nagarkoti of Machhapokhari, Sudip Tamang of Nuwakot, Machhapokhari businessman Madhav Shahi, 19-year-old Keshav Rai of Nuwakot and Indra Tamang of Sindhuli.

The police also arrested driver Elaraj Gurung of Dhading, co-driver Rajan Raut of Udayapur, driver Harisharan Tamang of Kavre, co-driver Bikas Gurung of Dhading, driver Sambidhan Pariyar of Chitwan and a waiter Kavin Khadgi of Samakhusi.
