Germany provides Nepal with 15 Lakh doses of Pfizer vaccine

KATHMANDU, Feb. 15: Germany has provided the Nepal Government with 15 Lakh doses of Pfizer vaccine under the COVAX facility.

German ambassador to Nepal Dr. Thromas Prince handed over the vaccine to the Health and Population Minister Padam Giri at the Ministry of Health and Population on Wednesday. 

The ambassador Dr. Prince said that they will continue to help in the future as well. He expressed his hopes that we will put the vaccines to good use.

Similarly, Minister Padam Giri expressed the commitment that vaccination will be given to the target group and senior citizens. He also appreciated Germany's support during the earthquake in Nepal.
