CAN lifts ex-captain Sandeep Lamichhane’s suspension

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has lifted the suspension of Sandeep Lamichhane, former captain of Nepali Men’s Cricket Team.
A meeting of the central committee of association held at Pokhara earlier on Tuesday took a decision to this effect, according to Birendra Bahadur Chand, member of the committee.
Earlier, the CAN had suspended Lamichhane after he was arrested and accused of raping a minor. The High Court recently passed an order to release Lamichhane on bail.
