School-level cricket tournament in Kailali from first week of February
DHANGADHI, Jan. 25: A school-level U-19 T-20 cricket tournament is going to be held at Phapla Cricket Ground in Dhangadhi, Kailali from the 4th of February. In the "Little Flower Premier League (LPL-7) 7th edition", 10 schools will participate in the competition.
Participating schools are divided into two groups. Each team will play four games in the league stage. Group winners and runners-up will enter the semi-finals. The opening match will be between Lotus Eye Attaria and Satyavati Academy Attaria. Ramchandra Shahi, president of Little Flower Sports and Events, which is the organizer, informed that the final game will be held on February 18.
The winner of the competition will receive Rs. 251,111 and the runner-up will receive Rs. 125,525 along with trophies, medals, and certificates. The best player in the tournament will get Rs 20,000 and the best bowler and batter will get Rs 10,000 each. According to the organizers, Rs 5,000 will be given to emerging players and Rs 2,000 to the 'Player of the Match' of each game.
