Lumbini in the qualifiers of Nepal T-20 league

KATHMANDU, Jan. 4: Lumbini All Stars has entered the qualifiers of the first edition of the Nepal T-20 League. Lumbini defeated Kathmandu Knights by 102 runs at the TU Cricket Ground on Wednesday. Chasing the target of 184 runs given by Lumbini in the match reduced to 17 overs, Kathmandu scored 81 runs in 15 overs and 4 balls.
Bahir Ahmed made 22 runs for Kathmandu. Likewise, while Kamalsingh Airy scored 16 runs, Captain Gyanendra Malla and Lokesh Bam both made 15-15 runs.
Harry Tector, Kushal Bhurtel, and Ishan Pandey all took 2-2 wickets for Lumbini. Earlier, Lumbini, who batted first, scored 183 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 17 overs. Harmeet Singh scored a half-century of 70 runs for Lumbini. Similarly, while Milantha scored 26 runs, Gulshan Jha scored 21 runs.
Abhinash Bohora took 3 wickets for Kathmandu. Similarly, Basir Ahmed took 2 wickets.
With the win, Lumbini has won 7 out of 9 games and has become a qualifier with 16 points. Kathmandu is third in the table with 8 points after playing eight games.
