934 people diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday

KATHMANDU, Aug 8: As many as 934 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nepal on Monday.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), of 5,351 COVID-19 tests that were conducted in the past 24 hours, 934 tests turned out to be positive for the disease.
Likewise, in the past 24 hours, one person has died on COVID-19 in the country, taking Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll to 11,972.
There are currently 5,686 active cases of COVID-19 across the country as of Monday afternoon.
