Nepal’s active COVID-19 case tally nears 4000-mark with 564 new cases recorded on Wednesday

KATHMANDU, July 27: Nepal on Wednesday recorded 564 new cases of COVID-19.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 4454 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.

Likewise, 202 people who had earlier tested positive for the disease recovered in the same time.

Similarly, the Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday recorded 276 new cases of COVID-19. Of them, 41 were detected in Lalitpur, 17 in Bhaktapur and 218 in Kathmandu districts.

There are currently 3,929 active cases of COVID-19 across the country.
