Ministers of CPN (US) exert pressure on PM Deuba not to reshuffle Cabinet
KATHMANDU, June 26: As the time when the CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to recall its ministers from the government and send a new set of ministers to the government, current ministers of the party has begun exerting pressure on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba not to reshuffle the Cabinet.
The secretariat, central committee and politburo committee of the party have already decided to recall its ministers from the government.
According to a leader of the party, Minister for Urban Development, Ram Kumari Jhakri, Health Minister, Birod Kathiwada and Labor Minister, Kishan Shrestha urged PM Deuba not to remove them from their posts.
“We only served as ministers for six months. Our party has decided to oust us from our post. We urge you to play your role,” ministers told PM Deuba.
On his part, PM Deuba has maintained that he will take a decision as per the situation to unfold, the leader told Ratopati on the condition of anonymity.
