There was no involvement of unofficial personnel during budget preparation: FinMin Sharma

KATHMANDU, June 14: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has maintained that there was no involvement of unofficial personnel during budget preparation.

Minister Sharma also claimed the acquisition made by the opposition party to be baseless and fictional.

Answering the queries of the lawmakers during deliberation on an appropriation bill in the House of Representatives (HoR) on Tuesday, Finance Minister Sharma refuted the claim that there was involvement of unofficial people during the budget preparation.

The budget was prepared and introduced following the rules and tradition in the presence of the Finance Secretary and other officials.
