KMC Mayor Race: Balen Shah’s vote surpasses 10,000-mark

KATHMANDU, May 16:  Balen Shah, an independent candidate for the post of the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City is currently leading the vote count as of 11 AM, Tuesday with 5,010 votes more than his nearest contender.

Balne is leading the vote count with 10,797 votes. His nearest contender was Keshav Sthapit who garnered 5,787 votes.

Likewise, Srijana Singh, Nepali Congress’s candidate for the post has collected 5,074 votes.
