KMC Mayor Race: Balen Shah’s vote surpasses 7,000 mark

KATHMANDU, May 16: Balen Shah, an independent candidate for the post of the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City is currently leading the vote count.
As of 2 PM, Monday, Balne was leading the vote count with 7,089 votes. His nearest contender was Keshav Sthapit who garnered 3,746 votes.
Likewise, Srijana Singh, Nepali Congress’s candidate for the post has collected 3,300 votes.
