Local Level Polls: Nepali Congress wins the highest number of local units so far

KATHMANDU, May 16: The results of Local Level Polls held recently are gradually being published.

So far, the ruling Nepali Congress has won the highest number of local units across the country.

According to the latest data of the Election Commission, as of 12:00 noon, Monday, Nepali Congress has won in 46 local units followed by CPN-UML winning in 38 local units.

The CPN (Maoist Center) is in the third position, winning 21 local units.

The Nepali Congress has won the post of mayor in five municipalities and Chairperson in 41 rural municipalities. The party is currently leading the vote count in 209 local units across the country.
