CPN (US)’s candidate Acharya takes lead of vote count in Pokhara
KATHMANDU, May 16: In Pokhara Metropolitan City, candidate of CPN (Unified Socialist) backed by the ruling alliance, Dhanraj Acharya is currently taking the lead in the vote count currently underway.
Acharya has so far garnered 902 votes while his nearest contender Krishna Thapa, candidate of CPN-UML, has collected 703 votes.
Likewise, Kopila Ranabhat, candidate of Nepali Congress for the post of deputy mayor of the metropolis backed by the ruling alliance, has so far garnered 716 votes while her nearest contender Manju Devi Gurung has got 583 votes.
