These candidates make it to NC's central members
KATHMANDU, December 20: As many as 35 central members (open) of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) have been elected through the 14th General Convention of the party held in Kathmandu.
As many as 99 candidates had filed their candidacy for the post.
Of the newly elected central members, 71 percent are considered close to the newly elected President of the party and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Incumbent General Secretary Shashank Koirala garnered the highest of 3,836 votes to be elected as the central member.
