Govt administering Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to children aged between 12 to 17 form Sunday
KATHMANDU, November 21: The government is administering Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to children aged between 12 to 17 from Sunday.
The vaccine is being administered in Kathmandu and Lalitpur districts.
The government has already administered the same vaccine to people older than 12 years with chronic diseases.
This vaccination drive will be conducted for three days from today i.e Tuesday, according to the Family Welfare Division under the health ministry.
The Pfizer vaccine remaining after inoculating to people with chronic diseases will now be administered to as many as 2,800 children.
The vaccine can be received from Patan Hospital, Bir Hospital, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Civil Hospital, Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center and Birendra Sainik Hospital.
