Massive fire in Mugu’s Gamgadhi, 21 houses gutted

MUGU: A massive fire broke out in Mugu, the headquarters of Mugu district on Monday midnight.

The fire, which broke out at 12:30 AM, destroyed as many as 21 houses, according to Mugu Police.

“Though we prevented the fire from spreading to other houses, it is yet to be completely contained,” said Rom Bahadur Mahat, the chief district officer (CDO) of Mugu.

He also added that no human loss has so far been reported.

Nepal Army and Nepal Police Police personnel along with local people are being involved in dousing the fire.
