Province 1’s CM Rai to take trust vote on Nov 16

KATHMANDU, November 10: The newly appointed chief minister of Province 1 Rajendra Rai is scheduled to take a vote of confidence on November 16.

I am planning to take a vote of trust in the upcoming provincial assembly meeting, Rai told Ratopati.

The Province 1 secretariat has already issued a notice according to which a provincial assembly meeting will be held on November 16, 2021.

Earlier, the meeting was scheduled for November 9 which was later postponed after CM Rai announced to expand his Cabinet only after a floor test.

According to CM Rai, the province is likely to have a Cabinet of no more than 11 members. Currently, the province comprises seven ministries.
