Govt prorogue ongoing House session from midnight Friday
KATHMANDU, October 29: The government has decided to prorogue the ongoing House session effective from midnight Friday.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari ended the House session as per the decision of the Council of Ministers made on Thursday.
The meeting has been put off until further notice.
The main opposition party CPN (UML) has been obstructing the House sessions since the beginning citing the involvement of Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota in the split of the party.
