SC justices ‘boycott’ all benches

KATHMANDU: Justices of the Supreme Court (SC) boycotted all the benches on Monday.

No hearing took place though a cause-list was published for ten benches on Monday.

This comes at a time when the majority of justices of the apex court decided to boycott a full-court meeting summoned by Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana. The full-court meeting, scheduled for Monday, however, could not be held.

Officer bearers of the Nepal Bar Association (NBA) held a meeting with CJ Rana amid controversies linked with the latter.
