Voting on Province 1 CM Acharya’s trust motion to take place Sunday

KATHMANDU: Voting on the trust motion tabled by Province 1 Chief Minister (CM) Bhim Prasad Acharya is scheduled to take place on Sunday.
CM Acharya tabled the motion in the provincial assembly meeting on Friday afternoon.
Speaker Pradeep Kumar Bhandari, shortly after CM Acharya tabled the motion, said that needed proceedings will be held on Sunday at 12:30 PM.
Acharya, who was appointed the CM of the province on August 26, is required to win the confidence of the provincial assembly to remain intact as the executive head following the split in the ruling CPN-UML.
