Hearing on Alam’s case postponed
KATHMANDU: Hearing over the writ petition filed by former minister and leader of ruling Nepali Congress (NC), Mohammad Aftab Alam has been postponed yet again.
Though the hearing was scheduled for Friday, it was postponed as asked by the Office of Attorney General. Justices duo Dr Anand Mohan Bhattarai and Nahakul Subedi were to hear the case.
Alam, who is in custody following the orders by the district and high courts for his involvement in the 2008 Rautahat mass murder, had filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court, requesting for his bail.
