UPDATE: Death toll in recent floods and landslides reaches 104

KATHMANDU, October 22: As many as 104 people have died in floods and landslides triggered by unseasonal incessant rainfall since Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, a total of 62 people have died due to the incident in Province 1 only. Likewise, 20 have sustained injuries and 13 have gone missing.
Similarly, one died in Bagmati Province, three in Lumbini Province, seven in Karnali Province and 31 in Sudurpaschim Province. As many as 23 people are still missing in Sudurpaschim Province.
