Nepali national killed in gun attack in USA

KATHMANDU, October 20: A Nepali national was killed in a gun attack at a shop in the Massachusett State of the United Nations of America (USA).

The deceased has been identified as Lal Kishor Mahaseth, 54. He has been residing at Fall River in Massachusett State with his wife, two sons and a daughter.

According to the Fall River Police and the local news channel, the gun attack took place at around 10:30 pm on Monday. Mahaseth was then admitted to Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. Medics had declared him dead at around 11 PM.

The police have already initiated investigation of the case and it has been assumed that the attacker is a youth aged between 20 to 30 years old with a height of 5 ft 7 in to 5 ft 9 in. The killer is also found to have a tattoo in his right hand.

Deceased Mahaseth was a founder member of Madhesi Association in America and President of New England chapter.
