PHOTOS: Nepal Nat’l Football Team arrives home, receives warm welcome

KATHMANDU: Nepal National Football Team, which was in the Maldives to participate in the SAFF Championship, arrived in Kathmandu on Monday. 

The players and team officials were received at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) by Maheshowr Jung Gahatraj, Minister for Youths and Sports, officials of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), supporters and their family members. 

The team entered the maiden final of the tournament and became first runner up. Nepal lost to India 3-0 in the final match played on Saturday evening.
