HoR meeting today, govt to withdraw Railway Bill, Federal Civil Service Bill

KATHMANDU, October 8: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled for Friday.

The will begin from 1 PM this afternoon. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to present a proposal to withdraw the  Railway Bill 2076 B.S and the Federal Civil Service Bill 2075 B.S.

It has been learnt that the government is planning to prorogue the House session after withdrawing some bills due to the continuous obstruction of the main opposition party CPN (UML). The party has been accusing Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota of not taking action against the 14 lawmakers who had faced action from the party and causing a split in the party.
