CPN (Unified Socialist) to change its election symbol
KATHMANDU, October 8: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to change its election symbol.
A standing committee meeting held on Thursday took a decision to change its earlier proposed election symbol (book). The party has now decided to make ‘Pen’ its election symbol.
“The party will visit the Election Commission on Friday or Sunday after completing the process to change the election symbol,” said Jaganath Kathiwada, spokesperson of the party.
The party’s decision to change its election symbol came at the time when the party merged with the Nepal Communist Party (Unified)-led by Jeevan Rai.
Earlier, Pen was the election symbol of the Nepal Communist Party (Unified).
