UML leader Joshi joins CPN (Unified Socialist)

KATHMANDU, October 7: A central committee member of CPN (UML), Bhanubakta Joshi has resigned from his post and joined CPN (Unified Socialist), a new political party formed by the splinter faction of the party-led by Madhav Kumar Nepal.

Chairman of Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal formally welcomed Joshi to the party on Thursday.

Joshi in his resignation had expressed his dissatisfaction to UML Chair KP Sharma Oli regarding implementation of the 10 points agreement and intra-party rifts.

Joshi, who has also served as a Minister for Forest and Environment, was elected a member of parliament from Bajhang district.
