NC’s delegation visiting India on invitation of BJP on Thursday
KATHMANDU, October 6: Delegations of Nepali Congress (NC)-led by party joint general secretary Prakash Sharan Mahat are travelling to Delhi on invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday.
The team including leaders Uday Shumsher Rana and Ajay Chaurasia will be travelling to Delhi on invitation of Vijay Chauthaiwale, chief of Foreign Affairs Department of BJP.
Earlier in August, Chauthaiwale had visited Nepal on invitation of joint general secretary Mahat.
“NC has been invited by BJP and we are travelling to Delhi on Thursday accordingly,” said Uday Shumsher Rara who will be accompanying joint secretary Mahat during the visit.
The delegation is scheduled to call on Chairman of BJP JP Nadda, national general secretary Arun Singh, Vijay Chauthaiwale, chief of Foreign Affairs Department and S Jaishankar, India’s external affairs minister.
This visit is seen as PM Deuba’s effort to improve ties with BJP.
