Sankhuwasabha Murder Case: Four of five accused remanded in custody for initial probe

Six members of family were murdered on Aug 31

SANKHUWASABHA: Four of the five accused of a Sankhuwasabha mass murder were remanded into custody for initial probe. 

Sankhuwasabha District Court on Monday ordered that one minor be sent to a rehabilitation center. 

Six of a family including 55-year old Tej Bahadur Karki, his mother Parbati Karki, wife Kamala Karki, sister in law Ranajana Karki, 32, grandson Bipin Karki, 8, and granddaughter Goma Karki, 5 were murdered on August 15 at Umling of Madi Municipality in the district. 


Lok Bahadur Karki, Khadga Bahadur Karki, Hasta Bahadur Karki, Ran Bahadur Karki and a minor were arrested on different dates following the incident. Seventeen-year-old minor will be sent to a rehabilitation center.
