COVID-19: 1030 cases, 1,000 recoveries and 10 deaths reported Monday

KATHMANDU:  As many as 1,030 new cases of novel coronavirus disease were detected in Nepal through 10,874 tests carried out across the country on Monday. 

With this, the total number of cases in the country has reached  798,004 through the RT-PCR testing method and 92,252 antigen method. 

Including 1,000 recoveries on Monday, Nepal’s recovery rate has climbed to 96.5 percent, meaning 770,224 reported complete recovery. 

Meanwhile, 10 people succumbed to the disease taking the fatality tally to 11,174. 

There are at least 16,606 active cases of the disease across the country.
