Both House sessions prorogued starting Monday midnight

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has prorogued the ongoing session of both the House of Representatives (HoR) and National Assembly (NA) on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.
Meanwhile, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota also read out the letter received from the Office of the President in Monday’s HoR meeting and informed the House about the progression of the House session effective from Monday midnight itself.
