UML task force dissolved, lawmakers instructed to stand against Deuba govt
KATHMANDU, July 16: The CPN-UML has dissolved a ten-member task force, which was formed to 'sort out differences in the party'.
A Standing Committee meeting held on Friday afternoon took the decision in this regard, said Pradeep Gyawali, spokesperson for the party.
The task force, formed on May 16, comprised Bhim Rawal, Ghanashyam Bhusal, Surendra Pandey, Raghuji Pant and Gorkarna Bista from the senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal side while Subash Chandra Nemang, Bishnu Poudel, Pradeep Gyawali, Shankar Pokharel and Bishnu Rimal represented Chairman KP Sharma Oli faction.
Meanwhile, the party also instructed all its lawmakers to stand against the recently formed government led by Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
The meeting also appreciated the outgoing KP Sharma Oli-led government for its 'historical' performances.
