JSP not to issue whip for tomorrow’s trust vote in parliament

KATHMANDU, May 9: Janata Samajbadi Party has decided not to issue a whip to its lawmakers to vote in favor or against Prime Minister KP Shamra Oli as the latter is seeking to win parliament’s trust on Monday. 

A meeting of the party’s office bearers held on Sunday, however, decided to vote against Oli. “We have not issued whip to our lawmakers either,” party’s senior leader Rajendra Mahato told Ratopati. According to him, the lawmakers of the party have the freedom to use their discretion while voting.
