Suspects of hotel murder arrested in California, U.S.
SAN FRANCISCO (Xinhua) - Three people suspected of being involved in a deadly shooting of a man were arrested by local police on Sunday in the city of Fremont in western California's San Francisco Bay Area.
The victim, a 48-year-old Fremont man, was killed at a hotel on Saturday night.
The police told local media that the victim may have been shot by a person he knew. Details surrounding the case, including the names of the victim and those who were detained, were not released yet.
The police said the man was outside the hotel's lobby suffering from a gunshot wound when police officers were called to the scene. After receiving first aid treatment, the man was rushed to a hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Investigators believed that the man was shot inside a hotel room, and the murder appeared to have been what the police said an "isolated incident."
